    Under-Body Coating

Under Body coating is usually a dense coating applied to the undercarriage of the automobile. It is normally sprayed or painted on when the car is just out of dealership and is clean. At present most of the automobile OEM's do the undercoating before delivery.

The main purpose of the under body coating is to prevent rusting to the exposed metal body. it can also reduce wear and tear.

    Types of Under-Body coating

    1. Rubberised Under-Body coating

This is generally best underbody coating for your car. Rubberized undercoating do a great job of keeping existing rust all covered up and looking sharp, but it does absolutely nothing to slow down the spread of rust and corrosion sometimes the trapped air and moisture may even contribute to rust formation. It is well advised to clean the underbody without any dust particles before coating.

    2. Wax based Under-Body Coating

This is very short life coating which will wear away in few months, this coating will work well on moisture and very affordable. It is easy to spray paint the under body with wax.

    3. Asphalt based Under-Body Coating

Asphalt based under coating giver better protection than rubberised coating. The process of asphalt under coating is very time consuming. This coating is best suited for trucks and large vehicles. However asphalt based under coating contains little amount of rubber for sound insulation purpose

    4. Ployurethane Under-Body Coating

This coating closes the splits and fractures in the underbody of the vehicle, it offers good protection against corrosion and also bonds with metal. We can do a paint coat on polyurethane undercoating unlike asphalt undercoating.

    Advantages of Under -Body Coating

    1. Protects from rust.

    2. Absorbs noise.

    3. Offer additional reinforcement.

    4. Prolongs car life.
