 PROCEDURE FOR THE PROJECT:

After the revit is open we can see the sample project options like archetech, structural etc the apropreate file is taken but for now as for our requirement, new option is selected a window is displayed showing the project templet type for my convience imperial templet Is taken by using the option browes.

After the selection of the templet the file is saved with the name “fst prjct” and then in from archetech option wall is taken and a sample layout is created using the dimentions 40’x35’.

From the properties option different type of walls are selected and applied.

Using the visibility option different type of options are selected like shaded, wireframe and realistic to view the model in the different views.

ANALYZE IN REVIT:

Analyze tool bar is used to analyze the complete structure in the point of loads, connections ect.

It is use to determine the safty of the structure when the structure is drawn in the structural poin of view if not the analyze of the structure in the point of the archetech.

The connections of the structure is automatically analyzed  by using this tools.

LINKS IN REVIT:

Link is a tool in revit that is used to link different cad or ifc files or the revit files itself in the working project.this is tool is used to analize the project in different ways and to work on it an reference like.

By linking the required files in the project it helps in understanding the modifecations of the project without going into the new file all the time. By using manage tool option the file that is to be linked is taken from the path where it is saved and the name of the file and the type of the file is made according to the requirement.

Calculation of Stiffness in Structural elements

Objective:

1st question: find the stiffness co efficient of the system.     In the given figure there are three degree of freedoms as fiven 2 are rotational and one is translate motion. Lets consider the unit displacement. Given conditions L=2h EI of beam=EI of column For the displacement u1 1)K for the column in translation=2x â€¦
