Project 1 - COVID-19 Vaccinations Trend Analysis

AIM:
The aim of the project is to analyse Covid-19 vaccination data in detail on daily vaccination, fully vaccinated people and total vaccinations by year and country.

INTRODUCTION:
The COVID-19 outbreak has brought significant attention to the healthcare sector in recent times, and it has changed the concept of safety in every aspect of our lives. However, vaccination came into light as the only solution that could fight most effectively against coronavirus and probably eradicate it. The main objective of this project is to analyse the data on COVID-19 Vaccinations. Through the Analysis of Covid-19 vaccination data, we can find out  important insights.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:

Through analysis we can find out:

• How many people are completely vaccinated.
• Total vaccinations by each date, year & country.
• Number of people vaccinated per hundred.
• Daily vaccination data of each country.
• Top 10 countries for fully vaccinated, daily and highly vaccinated.

METHODOLOGY:

Data importing:

In power BI desktop with the help of the get data option import the CSV data which is named as country_vaccinations and click load option.

Data cleaning:
In this process I cleaned the data with the option transform data in order replace null value from the columns to 0.

 Data interpretation:

In this process I used diverse analytical methods to review, categorize and summarize data in order to answer the questions. Example: I found out there are total 86512 rows and 15 columns using power query, 86512 countries in vaccination data set using count etc..

Visualization:
In visualization, using Power BI Desktop software I made use of  visualization tools like graphs, slicers, cards and charts and gave variety of color and filter patterns in order to understand in best way possible.

ANALYSIS (DATA SHEETS PERTAINING TO IT):
During analysis found some interesting points those are:

• The dataset is available from 2020 to 2022
• 33% people are fully vaccinated in the year 2021
• 29% people are fully vaccinated in the year 2022
• 38% people are fully vaccinated in the year 2020
• Total vaccination in map visualization of country.
• Total Highest Daily vaccination is 9,22,31,33,948 in 2021.
• Total Highest daily vaccination is 3,25,03,42,496 in China.
  
• Top 10 countries with fully vaccinated Top 10 countries with fully vaccinated
• Top 10 countries with Daily vaccination
• Top 10 Countries where most people are vaccinated

INSIGHTS:

• Here we analysed the top 10 fully vaccinated countries in which India tops the list which indicates that people in the country where showing lots of interests to get vaccinated.
• Analysed top 10 daily vaccinated countries in which China tops the list.
• Analysed top 10 countries where most people are vaccinated in which China tops the list.
• Analysed sum daily vaccination yearly where 2021 is highest.

• Also analysed the sum of daily vaccinating details, fully vaccinating and vaccinating people details.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

• We should collect day to day reports and we should update our records daily to get more accurate details. So that we can move forward with more vaccination to the right country which needs the most.
• We can analyse the data of the overall world as well as various categories like city-wise or region-wise.
  
  
  CONCLUSION:
  In this dataset we came to know that the vaccination process in every country was going in good pace that indicates we can have control of this disease very soon all over the world.
