Steps in Draft Analysis of Switch Bezel design : -

    1) It is hard to thicken the fillet surfaces, therefore select the simple surfaces to thciken by first untrimng them.

    2) Creation of "Tooling Axis" using bisecting method : - The area which is difficult to clear in switch bezel is pocket shape. So, draw Draw two lines on opposite surfaces of the walls in the Y-direction. Create bisecting line using these two lines. Thus we will get tooling axis in Y direction. Now, perform the same method ti get another tooling axis in X-direction. Since there is only one face available in X-direction so create another line at 6 degree from the face line. Now bisect these two tooling axis to get the main tooling axis.

    3) Publsih the "Tooling Axis" & "Class-A" surface : -  For publishing "select the elements we need to publish-go to Tools-Publication"

    4) Extract all the surfaces and untrim them. In case to meet them with each other, extrapolate them. Now give the offset value accoprding to the thcikness of the lower side of the class-A surface. Always give offset on the lower side of the class-A surface, because class-A surface is the maximum limit of the thickness.5) Now them together 7 thus we will get our B-surface.
    6) Creation of class-C surface : -
Extract the outer boundaries of the body by using "Multiple extract" command. Now sweep the boundary with respect to tooling axis with minimum draft angle of 3 degree in the outside direction.
    7) Join class-A and class-C surface.

    8) Now trim it off with class-B surface.
    9) Draft Analysis on Switch Bezel Design : -
In part design, use "closed surface" to make the body solid. Now select the "Draft Analysis" tool. Now select the compass and place it on the tooling axis of the body and lock the compass on it. When the color is green then the draft is greater or around 3 degree and when the color is blue then the draft is negative.
