    1) Based on the project saved from Week 3,

    proceed from the First Floor Level.

    Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level

     

    INTRODUCTION-

    In this question main aim 

    to creating a ceiling plan of diffrent 

    level of building .

     

    PROCEDURE -

    Open file week 3 challange 

    -go to architectural menu click on 

    ceiling , just besides of  floor creation icon .

    -now creat boundry 

    -press enter ceiling is created .

    -now follow same steps and creat 

    ceiling whereever required .

    -please have a look of snips is given below 

    for more clearity .

    RESULTS -

    ceiling is created at desired  level .

    2) Model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling.

    Using the adjustment toolbars appearing on-screen adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees

    INTRODUCTION -

    MAIN AIM OF THIS QUESTION 

    CREAT A ROOF ON FOOT PRINT 

    OF CEILING .

    PROCEDURE -

    -Open second floor plan .

    -go to architectural tab and click 

    on roof icon .

    -creat a boundry for roof .

    -click on green tick roof is created .

    -change properities of roof 

    go to properties bar .

    -change roof type generic 4' roof .

    -next change degree of slope of 

    roof take help of unit command for 

    inches convert to degree of slope .

    -

    RESULT -

    A roof with 10 degree slope is created 

    on the foot print of ceiling .

    AIM -

    3) Using the file saved from weeks 2 to 4, create plan views for

    ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components. Separate them to
    architecture and structural plans

    a. Architecture plan must have walls, floors, and all the components placed within the building
    b. Structure plan must have details of only walls, floors, and columns

    INTRODUCTION -

    THE main of this question creating 

    plan views of architectural and 

    structural floor plan of residential unit .

    PROCEDURE -

    -IN this existing file , open view tab .

    -click on plan view 

    than select floor plan '

    -asked in here creat or load a new template 

    -select standard template than dialouge box 

    pops up .

    -in that select floor plan ' you like to 

    creat .

    -its creat floor plan automatic 

    -for structual floor plan 

    same procedure will be followed .

    -open plan view , select structural plan 

    -creat duplicate , give name structural 

    plan .

    in this way we created diffrent plans for 

    all floors ,roofs .

    -

    Result-

    we created diffrent architectural and 

     structural floor plan views  of all floor 

    and roof .

    4.AIM -

    4) Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors

    with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file

    a. The architecture plan dimensions include details on where the components

    are placed within the buildings with relation to grids. Overall dimensions are

    sufficient for architecture plans

    b. The Structure plan dimensions must include details on the

    position of all the walls and interior walls with reference to grids.

    Locate all the framing components of the building with reference to a fixed point using Structural plans

    INTRODUCTION -

    Main aim in here that add annotations 

    to both architectural and structural plan views 

    w.r.t. grids .

    -PROCEDURE -

    OPEN  architectural and structural floor plan 

    -type DI FOR DIMESIONING .

    -now give dimesions for all sheets  ,

    whereever required .

    RESULTS -

    DIMESION WERE ADDED  TO ALL 

    STRUCTURAL AND ARCHITECTURAL PLAN .

    5.AIM -5) Create a sheet template from the view tab and

    adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views

    INTRODUCTION -

    main aim of this question 

    creating a sheet template .

    -and adjust its parameter on sheet '

    -add appropriate view .

    PROCEDURE -

    -1st we open diffrent plan views 

    and  in here creat  camera view 

    for diffrent rooms and 3D view 

    -make realitis 

    -save its diffrent names in browser .

    -now open view tab , 

    click on sheet option .

    -than sheet will be open .

    -add parameter , edit double  click 

    -drag views you want on this sheet .

    -for adjusment click view , 

    go to scale change scale or 

    -also open a option edit sheet at menu 

    bar when you select view  in here 

    open this , go scale and adjust according to sheet ,.

    -

    RESULT 

    -Parameter of sheet were adjusted and 

    a sheet was formed  having diffrent 

    views .

    AIM -6) Using the elevation tab create the elevation views,

    looking at your building from East, North, South, and West

    INTRODUCTION -

    MAIN AIM OF THIS QUESTION 

    CREAT ELEVATION VIEWS IN 

    EAST ,WEST ,NORTH ,SOUTH 

    DIRECTION .

    PROCEDURE -

    -basicllay revit has priority created 

    4 vies of elevation in project browser .

    -but they are not there than one can 

    can creat it from view tab , clicking 

    on elevation option .

    -click elevation option , a box will 

    appear 

    -that that box at place from where 

    the user want to see elevation .

    -creat diffrent elevation all 4 directions .

    -

    RESULTS -

    DIFFRENT ELEVATIONS WERE CREATED 

    IN 4 DIFFRENT DIRECTIONS .

    AIM -7) Produce section cut through each room

    either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction

    INTRODUCTION -

    MAIN AIM IN HERE CREAT SECTION  OF 

    EACH ROOM .

    PROCEDURE -

    IN  view tab click on section tool  icon .

    -now placed section according to 

    user wants .

    -creat diffrent section and rename this .

    -and adjust lenth and height of 

    section and save it .

     

    RESULTS -

    SECTIONS OF DIFFRENT ROOMS WERE 

    CREATED .

    AIM -8) Classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and

    Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser

    INTRODUCTION -

    THE main of this question in here just 

    clearify and diffrentiating  diffrent section .

    in project browser .

    PROCEDURE -

    -IN ongoing project , there are a 

    project browser on left side of 

    screen /.

    there are diffrent section of all 

    -click snips of all diffrent section 

    such as floor plan ,structural plan 

    elevations ,views , etc .

    9) Using the sheet template produced create multiple sheets as follows
    a. A 101- Ground Floor Architecture Plan
    b. A 102- First Floor Architecture Plan
    c. A 103- Roof Plan
    d. S 101- Ground Floor Structural Plan
    e. S 102- First Floor Structural Plan
    f. S 103- Roof Framing Plan
    g. A-201- North-South Elevations
    h. A-202- East-West Elevations

    Add additional sheets based on the sections created in your Revit file

    INTRODUCTION -

    IN HERE CREAT DIFFRENT SHEET 

    OF ALL FLOORS PLAN ,STRUCTURAL 

    PLAN ,ELEVATION ,SECTION AND VIEWS .

     

    PROCEDURE -

    CLick on view tab 

    -click on sheet 

    -rename sheet as asked in question .

    -for example rename frist sheet is A-101 

    Ground floor architectural plan .

    -now drag plan view in  floor plan section 

    in project browser to this sheet .

    -adjust scale of view and thus creat 

    sheet .

    -follow same procedure , creat diffrent 

    sheets and draw all views as like 

    architectural and structural plan

    ,3D VIEWS ,ELEVATION ,in project 

    browser , adjust scale in properties  browser.

     

    -

    RESULTS -

    DIFFRENT TYPES OF SHEET WERE 

    CREATED .

    AIM-10) Create a camera-specific view or a 3D

    view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom).

    Based on the views create a new set of sheets starting A-501

    (you can add as many sheets after, 502, 503.. n)to place

    the 3D view images. Produce the sheets as a part of project drafting.

    INTRODUCTION-

    IN HERE MAIN AIM PLACED CAMERA SPECIFIC 

    3D VIEW OF EACH ROOM AND DRAG ON SHEETS .

    PROCEDURE -

    -Open view tab go to camera view 

    creat camera view of each rooms 

    like bedroom ,living room , kitchen etc.

    -give rename in project browser use 

    of right click .and save it .

    -now creat sheets go to 

    view tab , open sheets , drag these 

    camera views in sheets 

    -same procedure will be followed by 

    another sheets open and drag

    camera view in sheet and also adjust 

    scale . 

    -

    RESULTS -

    PARAMETER OF SHEET WERE ADJUSTED AND 

    SHEET WAS FORMED DIFFRENT VIEWS OF 

    RESIDENTIAL UNIT .
