Aim-To make a simulink model of the door bell using solenoid block

    Block used-

    1. Pulcse generator
    2. Battery
    3. Simulink PS Converter
    4. PS- simulink converter
    5. Solver
    6. Solenoid
    7. Ideal Transiltional sensor
    8. Mechanical motion sensor
    9. Mech. Ref
    10. Electrical Ref.
    11. Scope.

    Block Daigram-

    Explanation-

    1. Pulse Generator is basically used to fed the input values to the model and one scope is been connected to the pulse so that we can see the better input to its output.
    2. Battery is basically used to supply the Power to the System
    3. We connect the switch to the pulse generator through Simulink PS Converter and for every 2sec switch turn itself of through pulse generator.
    4. Solver is generally used to solve the system model
    5. Solenoid is used o convert electrical input into mechanical output through the plunger and gong mechanicsm
    6. Ideal transitional sensor is basically used to sense the plunger movement and gives the output desired.
    7. Mechanical and electrcial ref. is used to respect the other block funstionality.
    8. Scope is used to generate the plot.

    Output

    Part 2-

Aim-Use a Thermistor to sense the temprature of heater and turn on and off the fan as per the conditions

Thermistor- Its a type of Resistance Thermometer

    Block Daigram-

    Block Used-

    1. Signal Builder
    2. Controlled temp. sensor
    3. Thermistor
    4. Resistor
    5. Voltage Sensor
    6. DC Voltage Sourse
    7. Switch
    8. Constant
    9. Display
    10. Scope

    Explanation-

    • As per given condition for the time and temp. given set the Signal builder and solver as per the desired conditon
    • There is Simulink PS Converter which gennearlly convert the Simulink Signals into Real phyiscal Signals
    • This signal pass through thermistor which is connected to the battery.
    • The voltage is connected to the resistor which measures the value of the voltage as a treshold values
    • We use switch and provide the threshold values

    OUTPUT-

    Angular Velocity

    Angular Displacement

The plot shows if the temp is 20 deg C the fan is off for the first 10 sec when the temp reached the till 25 Deg C the fan starts for 20 sec

    Conclusions-

So in the First part we have made a Simulink block for the Door bell and see how the Electrical Signal is transmitted to Mechnical Signals

In the Second part we see how the thermistor to sense the temprature for the given condition.
